A Professional Matchday Workwear Solution for Preston North End

As one of the most recognisable football clubs in the EFL, Preston North End requires clear, professional matchday uniforms for the teams that support thousands of fans at Deepdale throughout the season. Working with Clothes2order, the club equipped its stewarding teams with branded high visibility workwear designed to improve staff visibility, strengthen team identity and help supporters quickly identify who to approach for assistance on matchdays.

"From time I sent the order through to the delivery, it actually surprised me. I didn't expect it to be as quick as it was. From the first game we were able to get all the stewards in their workwear. The staff are over the moon with it, they were so used to the old jackets that they all commented on the difference of quality, with the new ones being very warm and comfortable to wear. "

The Challenge

With hundreds of supporters moving throughout Deepdale on every matchday, stewarding teams need to be highly visible, easy to identify and professionally presented.

More than 300 stewards were equipped with branded high visibility garments, each featuring a unique identification number to support clear staff recognition and efficient event operations. Despite the scale of the order and the bespoke numbering requirements, the entire project was completed and dispatched within just four working days, ensuring the customer had everything in place ahead of matchday requirements.

Preston North End required durable branded workwear that could withstand regular use while helping supporters quickly locate staff for directions, assistance and matchday support.

The club also needed a reliable supplier capable of managing ongoing requirements as teams grow, roles evolve and new staff join throughout the season.
